Independent arrival at the hotel in Catnaia and check in at hotel.
At 5:00PM, departure from hotel to Taormina. Free time to visit this splendid town situated on Monte Tauro and defined as the pearl of the Mediterranean and dinner at leisure.
At 10:00 PM, return back to hotel in Catania.
08.30 – Departure by bus to Linguaglossa where in Piano Provenzana we get on board the 4×4 buses and depart for the visit of Etna, the highest and most active volcanological complex in Europe. Accompanied by the expert guides of the area we descend into the bowels of the earth by visiting a sliding cave lava, now extinguished, i.e. the snow cave or “thieves’ cave”.
We continue our trek along an avenue of white birches among the lava sand until reaching the Sartorius Mountains. These are defined the “bottoniera” due to their characteristic position that goes from the mountain to the valley from which it is possible to admire the splendid landscape with variegated colors characterized by blacks dull craters, green and thick woods and the blue of the sky that plunges into the sea. We continue towards east to the Valle del Bove, the large volcanic basin 1 kilometer deep and 5 kilometers wide formed about 34,000 years ago.
Our journey continues up to an altitude of 2,850 meters above sea level (or up to the maximum allowed by the authorities based on the eruptions in course), to reach the central crater from which it is possible to admire the south-east volcanic mouth that since last year is constantly erupting, offering visitors a unique and exciting show. We return downhill to visit a prestigious wine cellar where we taste a delicious lunch prepared with typical local products and accompanied by the tasty and fine wines of Etna.
In the afternoon we go down the valley dell’Alcantara up to the gorges that take their name from the homonymous stream that in the course of thousands of years has created the natural canyon of lava stone up to 25 meters high and 2 to 4-5 meters wide, a temple of natural beauty that we will be able to admire during the time available (entrance tickets not included).
In the late afternoon return to the hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, departure by coach to Cefalù. Free time to discover the seaside village which is part of the Arab-Norman circuit in whose historic center houses the Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After free lunch departure to Palermo, the capital city of the island elected Capital of Culture 2019. Arrival in the historic center and transfer by shuttle to the hotel located in the heart of the ZTL. Accommodation in reserved rooms, free time at disposal. Check in at hotel.
Dinner at the beautiful Castello a Mare restaurant of chef Natale Giunta from where it is possible to admire the wonderful sunset over the sea from the Cala di Palermo. Overnight.
After breakfast, meeting with our guides for the Walking tour of the historic center of Palermo at 08.30.
Walking through Via Vittorio Emanuele we will reach the Royal Palace or Palazzo dei Normanni al inside which we will visit the Palatine Chapel which together with the Cathedral of Palermo is part of the Norman Arab route. We continue to Piazza Pretoria famous for its defined fountain of Shame due to the nude statues, the Martorana complex with the exterior of the Church of Maria Santissima dell’Ammiraglio e di San Cataldo, the Quattro Canti and heading towards the sea Piazza San Domenico and the Vucciria district which houses the homonymous market where we will stop to taste among the numerous and colorful stalls typical street dishes such as bread with spleen, arancina with meat sauce, sfincione, bread with panelle (tasty chickpea flour pancakes), the typical Sicilian cannolo or other typical dessert, etc. Our expert guides accompany us on a journey of taste in amusing joy.

07.45 am departure by bus to Trapani.
09.30 Boarding on the motor vessel (non-exclusive) for the excursion to the Egadi islands. (It is necessary to have a bathing suit, beach towel, flip flops and clean clothes for the return trip).
Stop on the island of Favignana and free time for visiting the island. It will be possible to rent a bicycle to reach one of the many beaches or visit the Tonnara Florio not far from the port.
Boarding and departure for the circumnavigation of the island with swimming stops in the most beautiful and evocative bays.
During navigation, lunch will be offered on board based on typical products (appetizer and first course of pasta, water and wine included).
In the afternoon arrival at the island of Levanzo where it will be possible to go down for a pleasant walk through paved alleys limestone and the white houses. It is essential to photograph the most suggestive points.
Around 4.00PM departure to return to Trapani. Upon arrival, transfer by coach to the hotel in Palermo.
Free dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel release of the reserved rooms.
